India, Nepal and Bangladesh will begin a joint trip to India in 2018, officials said on Monday.
The three countries will also join India’s first ever visit by a Bangladeshi tourist to the US.
The trip will be organized by the National Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC), which is part of the Tourism Promotion and Promotion Board of India (TPUB), the Tourism Department said in a statement.
It will be the first trip by a Bangladeshis to India, it said.
India and Bangladesh have already had a number of bilateral agreements, including a pact on tourism.
The agreement envisages a three-month trip in 2019 for tourists from both countries, as well as the signing of agreements to build a hotel and airport in the two countries.
It also envisages the development of a joint venture in the tourism sector in the country.
